KP Food Safety & Halal Food Authority

The KP Food Safety & Halal Food Authority (FS&HFA), established under the 2014 Act, ensures the provision of safe and healthy food across the province.

All food businesses must be registered and regularly inspected for compliance. The Authority operates food testing laboratories and provides training to food handlers to promote scientific, law-abiding food practices.
